So, the festive season is now here, many of us will be spending our evenings round the tree, drinking mulled wine and stuffing our faces with mince pies.

Invariably, there will also be Christmas carols playing in the background, post your favourites here :holly:

Mine is O Little Town of Bethlehem

Proper ones. Snow. Mistletoe. Holly and ivy. Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer and Jingle Bells are dreadful and I would argue they cannot be called "carols" at all.

Away in a manger, for the nostalgia. We always used to sing it in school nativity plays.

I find it so hard to choose! I really love Little Donkey... I also agree that Jingle Bells isn't really a carol.. I do enjoy it still!

For actual Christmas songs though The Waitresses 'Christmas Wrapping' is great for an upbeat number!

That's a tough choice.
'Carol of the Bells' is nice, but it's not christmas if there's no 'silent night'

I'm not religious, so I don't particularly like any of them.

Hark the herald angels sing! As a pianist at Church I enjoy the quick chord changes and satisfying resolutions the song has.
