approaching a guy for the first time..

I like a guy at my university but he's even more shy than I am. I want to let him know I'm interested in him but I don't know how to. I've never had to make the first move with guys in the past but I think this time I may have to or else it's never going to happen. His flat mates have said they think I stand a chance with him, but I need to have some confidence and let him know I do like him. I just don't have a clue how to without getting all tongue-tied and awkward.

Yeah, I know how you feel. There was this lad in my year who I really like and now were good friends :biggrin:

however... he doesn't know I fancy him, the hints are ever so obvious too.

Well just force yourself to start talking to him, randomly say hi in the corridor(don't forget to smile) then next time you see him ask a question and so on... you'll have the confidence to approach him more and also know what he is really like.

Depends how well you know him, if you barely know him ask him for a drink somewhere and get to know each other more, but communication is the key, you don't ask you'll never know.
