do you ever get disillusioned by people

hey...

sorry in a bit of a bad mood...but does anyone else ever find that people, well most the people i know, are pretty selfish and uncaring and only think about themselves? maybe they're too tired or just aren't interested... maybe it's me that makes them act like that around me. not everyone i know is like that which makes me think that maybe it's not me.....but does any1 else ever get that?

I know a pretty wide range of people. Some are incredibly selfish, some are incredibly selfless.

examples...ooh, well it all sounds really stupid, but people in my year who blatently know who i am and i know who they are and we're been introduced, when they're in a big group (yeaterdya there were 3) just ignored me when i tried to smile at them.
my flatmates, can be really nice (like when i broke up with my bf, they stayed with me when i was cryin), but most of the time when i try to talk to them, they just act like they are really not interested and are just there out of politness...
i dont know...i do worry sometimes that i am missing something that everyone else knows or has...
