Have I technically lost my virginity?

Apologies for the stupidness of this thread

The other night I got with a guy, and we ended up doing some foreplay type stuff, which kinda led on to him trying to penetrate me. But because I'm a virgin and I wasnt really turned on at all it really hurt, so he didnt get very far and I stopped him fairly quickly, as in after like 10 seconds (yeah I know, I didnt persevere lol) In my opinion, this doesnt count as actually having sex- it was very brief, not pleasurable and just generally non sex. but he seems to think that we did. so does the fact that his cock was partly inside me for a short amount of time mean we had sex? surely not...but I was just curious what other peoples opinions on this are.

I think it's classified as penetration. It doesn't matter if it's 3 hours or a nano-second. The act's the same and so technically you're not.

Yeah, you've lost your virginity, technically.

Yep, you're no longer a virgin.
What difference does it make? Your experiences remain the same whether you're a "virgin" or "not a virgin."

you are not a virgin...
I guess it depends on what you feel about virginity. I would say you lost your virginity because he penetrated you even though it may not have been much and not for long.

Some people may only say they lose their virginity when they have sex where there is full penetration and what not.

I'd go with the idea that if your hymen has broken due to penetration, then you're no longer a virgin. Just depends how you interpret losing your virginity.

You lost it babe.
It depends which subject you adhere to...

Biology- I was penetrated, so I lost my virginity.
Psychology- I don't believe that I lost my virginity, so I didn't.
Philosophy- What is virginity?
Mathematics- Penis+Vagina= -1(Virginity)

And finally, English Literature-

And every night that poor girl cries,
I wish I hadn't opened my thighs.

So, yes, you have. At least I think so...

 rep for that, sir.
It doesn't really matter what you call the experience, is what I would say. Unless you have to fill in a form about your sexual escapades, and the virgin/non-virgin bit section doesn't have an 'other' option, I wouldn't think you'd ever need to have a label.

technically its gone, you may now wear the t-shirt .........

I think it depends if your hymen broke and if there was blood at the scene. *oups too much Waking the Dead*

I didn't realise. He seemed nice and while we were together, he was really sweet and sensitive. Plus I was very drunk (yeah I know I'm stupid) I'm so ****ing naive, I shoulda known he was only being like it to get what he wants.
