I DIDN'T have Chlamydia :)

I'm the girl who posted the I've got Chlamydia thread about 2 weeks ago. It turned out that my test from the GUM clinic came back negative and all other STI tests were negative that I had. I don't have anything and I'm clean. The health advisor said there was no sign that my fallopian tubes or cervix were inflamed either. I have no idea how they know that about my fallopian tubes are fine but they are. She said I'm an healthy young woman.

The health advisor couldn't tell me why my home test came back positive. I asked about my thrush and she said that wouldn't have effected my test at all. Maybe it was effected because I'd just finished my period when I took it and menstrual blood can make the result incorrect.

Word to everyone, if you are worried about any possible STI's don't bother spending money on home tests. Go to the GUM clinic where everythings free. Its not as bad as it sounds and the staff are really friendly.

Anyway I won't be ever putting myself at risk like that again.
