the title for my biology coursework is 'the effect of different concentrations of ethanol as an inhibitor of bacterial amylase. Does anyone know if its inhibition is competetive or allosteric? or the address of a web site that might tell me? HELP!!!

I did a piece of coursework that was very similar and it was a competitve inhibitor.

Hi iv read that u are doing an experiment with ethanol as an inhibitor on bacterial amylase. Have you found out any more information about the type of inhibitor ethanol is? If you have any idea if ethanol a is a reversible inhibitor, a competetive one or any other information id be very greatful to hear from you thanx
