Small bump on inside of thigh

I lost my virginity in May and haven't slept with anyone else since. We used a condom. A few weeks ago I read an article in a magazine about syphilis, and one of the symptons was an ulcer type thing on or around the genitals. Well just after that, a pink bump thing appeared on the inside of my thigh, about halfway down. If I hadn't read this article, or had sex, I'd have assumed it was nothing, but then I started to wonder if it was syphilis - I know it's pretty paranoid.

From what I understand, the ulcer from that normally appears around 21 weeks after sex - mine appeared like 5 months later! And it's not really an ulcer - looks more like an insect bite or something. I saw a few pics online and it doesn't look like the same thing. I just wonder what it is. ? I feel really stupid going to the doctor for something so silly.
It's a spot - just like on your face (or if you are unfortunate on your bum!). Try not to panic. It should go down just like a facial spot does.

Syphyllitic ulcers are usually only on the genital areas - penis, anus, mouth, vulva or vagina.

"Primary syphilis
Typically, one small ulcer (sore) develops where syphilis bacteria enter the body. This is commonly on the penis in men, on the vulva or vagina in women, or on the anus. The ulcer usually appears about 2-3 weeks after having sex with an infected person, but it may appear anytime up to 3 months later. The ulcer is usually painless, about the size of a small coin. A clear fluid (serum) may come from the ulcer. The ulcer lasts up to 6 weeks, then heals - but this does not mean the infection has gone. (The ulcer caused by syphilis is sometimes called a chancre.)"
