Trading just under $60 a barrel, the cost of litre of oil is about 24p. That's a quarter of the price of a litre of volvic/ evian.

how are you celebrating?

loading up on oil?

oil baths?

buying futures?

what does this even say? is there an oil crisis or a bottled water crisis?

so what you're saying is when oil was at maximum price, 150$, it still was cheaper than water.

No its not.

That's like saying houses are cheaper than cars because my house costs less than a £1 million ferrari.

Mine costs £1.17 for 1,000 litres. Presumably, though, there would be large transport costs if you imported liters of water from the USA; it's much cheaper to use British tapwater.

What is the world coming to when people let domestic appliances make decisions for them?
