    Yes of course you need to goto med school. Have a look at their webistes, the army/RAF often offer you scholorships (sp).

    Great career. A friend of mine got his MD years ago and after a year working in NHS hosptals decided he hated being a doctor. So much, he actually quit and became a computer consultant for a time.

    Eventually, he recognized that he was wasting his training so joined the medical corps. He's now a Major.

    Selection is tough though if you sign up for scholarship thru med school, although it pays well.
