Extreme blood loss and diarrhea

Sorry for the crudeness of the post, but im worried!!

This problem is pretty strange, in the past 30 hours i've been to the toilet 3 times, each time for a poo. it feels like i have diarrhea because of the feeling when it comes out(?!) yet all thats down the toilet is blood and lots of it! there is no poo at all, its only blood! im really worried, as its happened 3 times in a short period. and after ive been i get a dizzy spell, and last night i almost collapsed becasue everything was spinning, where i was so dizzy.

i'm really scared and don't know what to do because im frightened if its anything bad.

if anyone has any advice i would be grateful!

Get an emergency doctors appointment, you could have ruptured something, the quicker you get it seen to the better. Doctors get this kind of thing all the time and it could be dangerous to leave it so please dont be embarrassed

Doctors asap

Reply 3

Yeah you should get yourself down to a local A&E unit ASAP cos passing lots of blood is not good.

Reply 4

Get down to the doctors NOW!! It could be serious.

Reply 5

Yes. Go. Now!

Reply 6

Don't be embarrassed - it's ludicrous! You need medical help if what you're saying is true.

Reply 7

What i am saying is true, ive called the doctors and the earliest appointment is tomorrow at 4:50, do i have to wait now

Reply 8

Sorry not do i have to wait.. so i have to wait now

Reply 9

Tell them its an emergency and you need an appointment today and if they can't give you one go to A&E. Its important you are seen today.

tell a parent, or someone who could go with you, then get to the doctors!!!
I Hope all is ok. x

I can't tell my parents, im at uni and 3 hours from home. theres no-one i could tell. the docs is on campus so i may go there in a bit and get them to change the appointment.

Reply 12

if you actually tell them whats wrong they should be able to arrange something closer as it is serious
otherwise get down to a and e

Reply 13

Yeah. Tell them its an emergency. Most doctors have an emergency appointments system so they should be able to fit you it.

Get to the hospital. This amount of bloodloss is serious. We're not joking. You cannot wait until tomorrow. Categorically not. If you feel too unwell to get to A and E, call an ambulance. It may sound extreme, but I don't think you fully appreciate how ill you may be. It may be nothing, but you really don't want to take that risk.

Hope you are okay.

Which Uni are you at btw?

Reply 16

If you tell them you are losing blood leading to mild hypoxia im sure they will bump you up the priority list.

Reply 17

what shocks me the most is people actually post about these problems when its blatantly obvious you need to see the doctor.

Reply 18

I've changed the appointment till 4:30 and i'm seeing a nurse not a doctor. they're fully booked till then. im at gloucestershire uni

I woudl honestly forget going to the docs and go to the hospital immediately. Something like what you've described isn't worth hanging around.
