We had ours (PJM) last week, we didn't even get a thorough going over because the woman thought the kitchen smelt nice! :p: That's what coffee machines do for you :p:

we passed with a good with one small problem which was my roadsign which is obviously customary as a student.. sigh
Reply 3
I'm dreading the next ones, they come into your rooms too :p:
Reply 4
My house passed with a good but we have been told to get rid of the inflatable sofas in our kitchen

all you need to do is move them whenever you have an inspection, stick them in somebody's car or your room (if it's not being inspected too)

tut tut bex, and you an official rep for the union and all things holy, suggesting going against uni rules... i dont know... whats the world come too :P
Reply 7
The Union's not the Uni :p:

I have had my bike in my room for an inspection before (cunningly hidden behind my desk) which they failed to notice. A lot of it depends entirely on who carries out the inspections, we got a good when the place was in a worse state than the previous one that we got an OK!

I failed one of mine last year because my bin was half full
Reply 9
My flat failed our inspection, grrrr. It wasnt that messy, it was mainly because the bin was almost full & there were afew things on the worktops. They came around again though today & the place was sparkling  yay

god.. we had an ok... but they said they were coming back... we'd fail for sure with the state its in at the mo :frown:
We were told ours would be on Thursday, but they came yesterday. Had a tick in the OK box.

Yeah we got a good too... with two things toimprove, can't remember what they were though!! It was awhile ago now... cause i keep forgetting to check tsr when im online,.. its usually just webmail, blackboard and hotmail!

Ours was OK - bins were full, grill plan was dirty and had foil in it (that's a fire hazard apparently!)

My rooms not in a good state though. When are the room inspections?

Depends where you are. Go to Residences Connect (www.aber.ac.uk/residential/en.html, theres a link from there) to your residence and you can check out your dates from there. I know the next PJM one is around November 30, so yours may be around then too.
