rolls royce apprentiship reserve

Hey i just had an email confirming that i was on a reserve list for a rolls royce apprenticeship, i was wondering if anyone has ever been placed on this list and still got the place ??
Its my dream to go there, and its pretty horrible being im told on the reserves as im going to be waiting every day for an answer...
