Is anybody else struggling with this concept in their first year of Geography at university? I have approached my lecturer for further help but until our meeting I would like to have some sort of grasp of the concept so that I can take my learning further. Thanks!

Thankyou anyway. I had not heard of the term until university but it seems that some people had it on their syllabus at A Level - they have tried to explain but from an advanced point of view if you know what I mean! I need the basics!

Er, that term turns up 0 google results and 0 blackwell syngergy results. I'm as interested as anyone else in finding out whether it actually exists or not.

Well, most things. There isn't a train one.

    Or a bus one.
