Time thing not working

Alright well I've been trying to get over this lad I've liked for a long time. Everyone always says it just takes time but it really isn't working for me. I've liked him for ages and I've been trying to forget about him for years but I still feel so strongly for him after all that time. I have liked and been with other people during that time but it's no where near like anything I feel for this particular person and after a short while it just goes back to him being the only person I think about, day and night.

I think that maybe you should get a hobby to take your mind off him! :smile:

I know exactly what you mean, I'm in the same situation (except I'm male, and the person I love is female). I'm afraid I'm stuck, like you, I don't know what to advise, seeing as (for me) nothing has worked so far.

Yeah same here, I have hobbies but he's still on my mind. Even when I'm with my friends and we're having a good time or whatever, I'll just suddenly think of him and it all comes back
