Career In Investment Banking with a Degree In Politics?

Hi,
I'm going to be starting my degree in Politics with Economics (minor) in September 2015. I will be attending the University of Nottingham and was wondering if I would be able to get a job in Investment Banking with this degree.

Sorry to derail your thread but can someone tell me if a economics and finance degree from manchester would be sufficient to get into middle or front office

Top Tier
Economics
Mathematics

Middle Tier
Physics
Chemistry

Lower Tier
Engineering
Finance/ Accounting

And then others.

If you get sufficient work experience, and make sure you can prove competent mathematical proficiency, there's definitely a possibility :smile:
