I don't know what to make of this

Just been talking to one of my friends from my old college.

She said she has been with her boyfriend for four months and has moved in with him, however he went out last thursday, didn't tell her where he was going.

However he phoned her saturday, didn't say where he was, but has not been heard from since, she has tried to phone him and send texts but has got nothing in return, all that he has taken with him is his jacket, she's asked at all the local police stations and hospitals but there's no sign of him.

All too weird this, question is, where is he, why didn't he tell her where he was going, bit worried about her.

Couldn't she ask his family or friends? The guy might be depressed and has left as he couldn't handle things. She could still look for him but will have to give up in the end. Its a 50/50 situation - he could be in danger or just doesn't care.

Amazing how some people don't realise people worry, just listen to her but try not to get too involved as there could be more to it.

Well no i'm keeping an open mind on this, but she's called everyone and they say he's not there, all seems strange.

Without knowing the guy personally, I suppose I can't really hazard a guess it what he's up to.
Although it does sound quite worrying.
Like Angel83 said, doesn't he have any family/friends she can contact? (edit: you've just answered this, so I guess I wasn't much use!)

She says she has contacted the police and that they will tell her when there's some news.

Sounds pretty deliberate. I.e. not telling her where he went on Thursday, and then when they spoke on Sat, still not telling her.

What did he say when he rang on Sat?

I am not sure what she said, she wont tell me, i mean i dont believe she's the sort of person to lie and get attention, but i am keeping an open mind, because these days you just don't know but this seems genuine to me.

I was just thinking that if his family didn't seem too concerned then he may be avoiding her deliberatly, whereas if they are concerned then it may be more likely that something has happened to him...
