Is it easy to afford studying in London?

Is it easy to study in London with only maintenance loan -& maintenance grant? If not, how much more money would I need? Is it even worth studying in the most expensive city in the world?

Is it worth studying here? I think it depends what you are intending to study for business its almost certainly worth it as making connections is the most important part of business. Other degrees probably less so, but its exciting to live in such a vibrant living place and the transport system much as we hate it, its amazing really. Money wise it depends where you are coming from if you are on the lowest money wise then there are many bursarys available if not you may have to live a little rougher.
No. There may be bursaries but they dont cover the costs and unless you have a supportive family you'll need to work. An aquaintance who teaches medcine tells me that some medical students have real academic problems in their clinical years because they can't really work and study then.

London is not as exciting when you are broke.
It's impossible to say how much money you'll need.
