Crush on a teacher..

Has anyone had a crush on a teacher before?

Recently We've got a new french teacher and hes 22 from Paris. Whenever I see him I get so nervous as though I might burst out laughing/crying.

I know it will probably go nowhere since I'll be off to uni next year and also this is probably some temporary hormonal thing.
But does anyone think i should give any suggestions to this teacher? Im almost 18..

Having a crush on a teacher isn't unusual. There's always at least one...

How about the teacher having a crush on you? How scary is that. It is a well established fact my lecturer fancies me, and that terrifies me. I'm consoling myself by aging him a good twenty years in my mind, so he appears to be a harmless old man. And then I like to think he's actually gay. :frown:

I think it's normal to have a crush on a teacher, just as long as you don't physically get involved with a teacher.

Agreed. No harm in, erm, 'fantasizing' though.

Umm let me count the ways...

Let's just say that when half the class thinks he fancies you - you can't keep fooling yourself. But I think he can be really sweet sometimes, and maybe that gets taken the wrong way...I don't know. Who am I kidding?

I'd rather not my dear. As much as it might entertain you all it disturbs me. I'm going to pretend he is gay and really old....hmmm.

All the guys fancied the music teacher in my secondary school.
She was in her mid 20s and always wore something hot.

I remember when we got the new chemistry teacher at school, nearly all the girls were drooling. (I wasn't one of them, he wasn't my type, although I can see why they were all drooling.)

It'll pass, it usually does, and while there's only 4 years between you, he'd get into serious trouble for getting involved with a pupil, so just don't. It'll be safer for your head & your heart in the long run.

Does it mean anything if a teacher compliments you on the way you look? Because a pretty young science teacher at my college once did to me.

i had my fair share of gorgeous teachers i dealt with it in an efficient manner

i call my life saving technique masturbation

but then again i'm a guy i don't pretend to understand the emotional complexity of my female counterparts though i try to empathise with the situation, student-teacher is a completely no go area, you do not pass go and collect £200 you go straight to jail (metaphorically speaking)

I have had teachers openly chat me up in class with sex talk, but i have never fancied teachers.

in my experience the teachers made me feel rather uncomfortable, so that's how he may feel if u pursue this.
