Hi.. so I just moved to England a few months ago. I know what GCSEs are but I'm a bit confused. I'm currently in Year 11 and all of my classmates have given their Core Science Exam in Year 10. I have to do it after my Christmas holidays but I don't understand which topics to study. My exam board is AQA. I have this Revision book but as I said before I don't know which topics to study. I have no clue about B1a, B1b, C1a, C1b, P1a, P1b, B2a, B2b, C2a, C2b, P1a and P2b thing! Please help! Thanks

Hiya,

AQA GCSE science is made up of 3 sections for each science each containing 6/7 topics. Core science is the first of these 3 sections so contains the first 6/7 topics of the GCSE and this is what your exam will be on. It will include B1 1-7, C1 1-7, P1 1-7 (the 1st section of each science). Hope this helped. If you are still confused or need any help, just ask I'm happy to help. Hope it goes well
