I'm a Northerner, cruelly transplanted down here a few years ago. I've gone for all Northern universities in an attempt to leave this hellhole, hehe.

And I really should spend less time on here too, lol.

I'm going crazy, that or posts are secretly being deleted because more of your message came up in my email alert thing

Anyway, I don't think that's cruel, that's torture!!!

I'm trying to envisage a route that would take me 15 mins. My knowledge of Aylesbury geography is terrible.

Out across market square, up past Sainsbury's, left into Buckingham Street, Right onto Buckingham Road... as I say 15 mins at a brisk walk!

Ok, I had *no* idea you could go that way. I actually hadn't really gone beyond the town centre before I began to learn to drive. I shall use this information should I ever decide to see Aylesbury United play, lol.

Well if you do go and see them, pray next season's better than the one just finished... can't see what all the fuss about the torture in Iraq is about, should see what Ducks fans have to go through!!

I think you have to be an Aylesbury native to be prepared to loyally suffer through such pain, lol.

Actually not... i live about 15 miles away... my mum works in Ayles though... maybe I'm a masochist...

Which School?

I don't want to be blatant about it in case anyone creepy's reading, but PM if you'd like to know

I didn't know that the ground was there, I've been to the H&J loads of times, I went there to celebrate my exam results! I sat on the wall there loads of times waiting for my friend who worked there to come out! I'm obviously completely blind... *goes for eye test*

Your team's called "The Ducks"?? Can't really see that striking terror into the hearts of the opposition....

What division are they?

Aren't they Vauxhall Conference or something? teamvillage will know for certain..

Aylesbury's not known for its football. In fact, I don't think it's known for anything much, bar the breed of ducks that are named after it.

Does "moving" mean "were relegated"?

I think Dr Martins is above the Ryman but I'm not 100% sure.

No they are the same level... One is for the London are, and one for the rest of the South... Aylesbury is right on the border of the regions

I never knew Lynx was that good, thought it was just a little gymnastics centre.

Yeah it's a great gym club - one of the best facilities in the country. It's recently had some renovations so it's pretty good
