Based in Scotland - question

I'm an Spanish citizen but have been living in the UK since 2011. Currently based in Edinburgh, for the last year and a half, but lived in London before that. I've submitted my UCAS application, two of my choices are for Scottish universities and three for English ones.

My question is - do I have to apply for finance support via SAAS no matter which university I'll be attending, or I can apply via Student Finance England should I opt for an English institution?

I spoke to an advisor and confirmed I'm eligible for student loan, would that apply for both English and Scottish finance support? If so, and due to the difference in the tuition fees, would SFE offer an increase in the loan to cover that excess, or I should find the funds myself in some other way?

Hello Fernando,

If you are residing in Scotland then you will have to make your application via SAAS.

They will be able to discuss the options in regards to the difference in tuition fees with you.
