Hello i need some help my work and I'm studying IT. I need to find some benefits of installing and maintain software for a computer. Any suggestions ?

3. Threat reduction by patching
4. Performance benefits (particularly with code efficiency)

Just look in the book, and you'll find all the benefits necessary for completing the criteria!:smile:
Meeting changing user needs is another benefit. Say we take Excel as an example. A company currently might use Excel 2003 which only contains 65, 536 rows. However, Excel 2010 contains up to 1048,576. Therefore if the company needed to from now onwards produce far more complex spreadsheets which required the use of many more rows they would benefit from installing Excel 2010.
