Posted on the C3 thread a few days ago - they're extra papers set at the start of the new spec so there were "past papers" that the people back then could complete.

How do you integrate sin^2 x

    Question 4b June 11

    Posted from TSR Mobile
Use the double angle formula for cos2x which is cos2x = 1- 2sin^2x . Rearrange to get sin^2x . Then it will be \frac{1}{2}\int 1- cos2x dx . Then just integrate as normal from there.

    How did you find C3?

It was the most difficult C3 paper in my opinion. I made some dumb mistakes, but I found it alright. I was so happy about the integration by substitution question as I actually put it in the form p\sqrt5 + q\sqrt2 . That question wasn't easy at all. How did you find it?
