i dont understand what you have done for the parametric. Did you do (dy/dt)/dx/dt. I assume you get one method mark for differentiating x and on method mark for differentiating y and then one for the answer. For the vector question I'm still unsure if i got it right myself so can't answer. And the last part of the differential question do you mean dr/dt or 7a.

2. Made such a stupid mistake while rushing and put root29 cos(x - 1.19). How many marks will I have lost on question two?

1/3 is the answer if you incorrectly set up the differential equation (many people did this)... It will drop you 3 marks over the whole of 8b probably

same man I wrote 3.33 instead of 3.34 on that trig - Just plenty of small mistakes but I'm certain the grade boundaries will agree with us.

what values did you sub in for x and y. and for the last part do you remember the exact wording of the question as it could be either?

Depends on your working, probably 3

No worries, I'm sure you've done better than you think! Looking at your Core 3 mark scheme you've probably got 100 UMS on that!

No it couldn't, 1/3 was a common mistake though

C) h(x) = 1/(2x+3), h'(x) = -2(2x+3)^-2 this is always negative, therefore it is a decreasing function (4 Marks)

4.
A) 1 + x - 2(x^2) (2 Marks)
B)
(i). 1/4 - 1/16x + 5/256x^2 (3 Marks)
(ii). 0.2313 (2 Marks)

5.
A) dy/dx= -1/2 (3 Marks)
B) y=2x-1/2 (2 Marks)
C) cos2q = -1/8 (5 Marks)

6.
A) Theta = 60 degrees (4 Marks)
B) C(15, 6, 2) (4 Marks) (OR 15,3,2???)
C) E(11, 0, 0) and (23, 3, 0) (4 Marks)

7.
A) k=1/4 - ln2 (1 Mark)
B). dy/dx = 11/8 (6 Marks)

A). x=9/20-1/2(t+1)-1/20(1+t)^2 (7 marks)

(let theta equal the acute angle)

Therefore, it came from cos(theta) = 14/28
=> cos(theta) = 1/2
=> theta = 60 degrees
14. I've made so many stupid mistakes on both Core papers, and I even made a few on my Stats paper too. There's no chance that I'll get an A now.

I got that as well... I did it like twice and got that... The lamda for line L was -4 wasn't it??? Or 4 don't remember ... But yeah .. Then for the E one f the positions I got was (9,0,0) - don't remember the other one.

They didn't. I didn't have time to simplify it so I really hope it doesn't cost me a mark. It would be kind of ****ty of them to do that when they didn't mention it but at the same time you are taught to always simplify so I don't know.
1) Phew!
2) I agree, although in some examiner reports they've said that if not told to simplify, candidates should avoid doing so in order to avoid unecessary lost marks. However, the answer which everyone has on here looks nothing like mine at all

Potentially, did anybody else show x tending to infinity = 2x-3 tending to infinity = 1/(2x-3) tends to 0? Therefore is decreasing. (Idk if it was 2x-3 but was something like that)
