    There are a couple of places where you could get in with just chemistry, or chemistry or biology and maths/physics. But really it's best to have them both.

    If you don't have any sciences, there are a couple of foundation programmes. A couple of places will take you with just one or the other, and there are also some places that will let you on with one as an AS and one as an A2.

    But most candidates will have both, so it's best to have both.

    I think a good number of med schools want chemistry at least to AS level, preferably to A2 also. OP do you plan on not taking those A levels?
