Losing my job on Christmas Eve :'( Watch

My boss decided to tell me today (of all days) that I'll be losing my job after Christmas It just feels awful. He told me at the beginning of my shift so I had to carry on as normal and act as if everything was okay for another 4 hours. Everyone I work with is amazing and many of my best friends work there too... But not me.
Now Christmas seems like a million miles away and I sit here trying to hold back the tears...

He said there wouldn't be the hours for me after Christmas. It's just annoying because everywhere that would normally offer jobs in the area already has a load of Christmas temps that they can keep on so it'll be a good few months before anything else comes up, and even then, it wouldn't be half as enjoyable as what I have now
