I have like 6-7 close friends from high school and university. However I don't consider any of them to be better than each other; they just belong to the category 'close friends'. I feel so upset when a close friend of mine talks about their best friend that I refer to another close friend as my 'best friend' just to appear as if I have one (pathetic I know).
Is there a problem with me because I don't like a single friend more than the others?

I'm the same tbh, and nope, I don't see a problem with it!

Yh I don't have one either, I don't know how people classify someone as their 'best friend'
Like the friends I have are all just close friends, so yh

No it's not weird at all to not have a best friend. Everyone's different, but there is nothing wrong with that.

I don't have one either, it's normal. Can't really rely on 'best friends' these days.

My best friend is my twin sister.

I don't think Its weird.
I don't have a "best" friend but have 3 close friends who are like my sisters.
Umm also have 4 siblings who I am very close with so in all I would say I have 7 close friends but no best friend.
I don't think many people have a single best friend, you will find more people who have a few close friends. x
