I've already chosen 3 Universities now I'm looking for 2 more for insurance and I thought of these ones. But as you can see there are 3 so I should reduce it to 2 and I have no idea which two should I choose.City life is important, nightlife, accommodatio n prices, lectures etc. I know that Brighton is amazing as a city (I'm also applying for Sussex) but I haven't heard good things about the university. The other two are usually next to each other on the rankings so actually the city life is the most important aspect and accommodation.I'm not British (if it's wasn't obvious because of my english lol) so maybe it could be also relevant (I'm Hungarian).

Hey, sorry to see you haven't had any replies to your thread yet. Are you sure you’ve posted in the right place? Posting in the specific university or course forum should help get more responses.

If you haven’t already found it, then university connect is a really useful way for finding people at your course/university! You can also find a list of applicant threads and courses here. It's worth checking out if you have questions.

If you need advice on your academic work, then the Study Help section will be able to help you. Hope this helps!

    Hello norbert12,

It is always difficult making those Top 5 decisions!

As you’ve mentioned that city life and accommodation is important to you; Northumbria University is actually based in the centre of Newcastle and is the largest university in the North East of England. Northumbria University has been voted one of the best Universities for night life according to Which? University Student Survey 2014. This year MSN Travel named us the UK’s Best University City and we have won that 4 times now. The Guardian named us the UK’s Best City 2014 and The Readers Digest voted us friendliest city in the UK.

In terms of our accommodation; we are Top 5 in the UK and also the lowest cost. We guarantee accommodation to every first year student. Have a look at this short video so you can get an idea of what we’re about.

Hope this helps you make an informed decision!
    Thanks,
