Lovely! Election &votings/democracy and participation/political parties/pressure groups . Constitution judicary/executive/legislative branches of governing. You then have to keep up tp date with news and events going on in politics and the world. Interesting? It's an essay subject by the way..if you're good at writing 45 min and 3 15 min essays

Gets so much more interesting in the second year (if you did the same course as I'm doing), the first year's quite good, you study everything that was mentioned above and have lots of debate, but during the second year we're studying ideologies, socialism, nationalism, feminism etc, it's much more interesting.

I wish I'm doing ideologies for A2 but my college teaches US Politics. I love the A level though and I've applied to do politics at uni too. I would definitely recommend it to anyone interested.

It's great! At the moment, it's my favourite subject at AS (followed by ICT). To all those who are considering taking it, do it! You won't regret it!
