OP I'm assuming you're asking genre in which case mostly alternative, alternative rock, indie rock, indie, a little dubstep/electronic and some death metal (hmm.)

The genre that evokes the greatest emotional response for me is "blackened folk metal" at the moment. Although I am increasingly getting into folk revival/electric folk music.

Dubstep / Rock / Techno / Glitch Hop

I do occasionally listen to mainstream but that's only when I get tired of listening to loud music.
