I was told that Nottingham was one of the most affordable citis for university students. When I researched the halls available and its prices, the comparison table said that the University Park was the cheapest site of them all.

The fees for the most basic room (shared study) at this campus are £4,407.18, which divided between the 31 weeks of contract, make a 142 pounds per week. Am I doing something wrong at calculating this?

Manchester University's accomodation offers 23 different halls and only of them is more expensive than 140 pounds. How can this be?

To be fair, on campus accommodation is catered so food is included.

It works out cheaper because in catered halls you're only paying for 31 weeks with food, as opposed to other halls where you pay for around 41 weeks with no food.
