so I have no previous employment since this would be my first job.. Who do I put down as the 2 references in the application form? I could go work experience or I have a backup. Should I put my school down?
also this sounds stupid but when I go dishing out CVs do I give it at the cashier..?
thanks!

For my first job application, I put down my school tutor (I used my head of year in another application), and a neighbour.
Alternatively, you could put the first reference down, and say "additional references available on request", and then the company can advise as to who they want as a second referee. -

When handing your CV in, id ask for a supervisor/manager and give it to them.
