Burnley - Bland team there just to make up the numbers. Would rather a championship side with a bit of history there like Nottm Forest/Leeds.
Burnley are founder members of the football league (unlike Leeds and Forest) and have won the league twice. One fewer than Leeds and one more than Forest.

All these people saying they aren't worthy of playing in the top flight are talking ****. They have a lengthy history in the English game and are in the top flight on merit.

QPR - ****ing hate Redknapp and all his Essex-lad sheep support. Hate Ferdinand and Barton, too.
Burnley - simply not good enough to stay up, and if they did, they'd almost certainly go down next year.
Hull City - I like Bruce, but I prefer awaydays to Leicester, WBA, Aston Villa and Crystal Palace because they are closer to me.

At least it's looking good for my second team (and birth city) Ipswich so far to getting promotion, will be so exciting to see if they stay this high.

Wouldn't mind if Sunderland went down to be fair. Never been there for an away day - I quite like a few of their players, though. Expect Poyet will leave them to manage in London eventually anyway, so they'll probably replace him with Pulis and their cycle will continue forever and ever finishing between 14th and 17th.

Wilf would have a lot to say about the second one

I don't hate any premier league team. The one exception of this would be Stoke City. It's not even the fact that they're a tough team to crack, it's the fact that all their players seem to have such an aggressive demeanour about them, they are all rough and quite frankly cynical individuals. Not too fond of Mark Hughes either. Don't see it happening anytime soon but Stoke City would be my answer in short.
Quite funny all of the Arsenal 'fans' on here hating on Stoke.

    a) Of the 4 goals your team conceded in the recent fixture (1 of which was incorrectly ruled out), how many of them came from long balls? None.

    b) In response to the post regarding the Ramsey incident, there was only one player on the pitch that day who wanted to break a leg and that was Fabregas, see link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LZovQocCC0c

    c) Aggressive demeanour? Arsenal have had more players sent off than Stoke have during their recent spell in the top division. See Van Persie's headbutt vs Stoke: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UwWEbOlEJOg and what about Giroud on Boxing Day? Arsene Wenger has supervised over 100 Arsenal red cards during his tenure - what a proud record!

If your team had the defensive ability of Stoke or even just Ryan Shawcross in your team you would win the title. But no, carry on with your misguided conceptions about Stoke being a dirty, aggressive long ball team and shy away (just like Wenger who sat in the dugout for 90 mins in the recent fixture) and keep getting beaten. Your pathetic defenders like Mertesacker who is scared of heading the ball (see recent Stoke and Liverpool away matches) keep costing you time and time again - it's hilarious to watch. Then you hurl abuse at your manager at railway stations and 'fans' come out with total rubbish like this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B5wE-Ybr14A Claude and Ty - what an embarassment!

English football would be far better off with Arsenal relegated. They really are the blotch on the backside of the top flight!

Well, I've clearly not got my finger on the pulse of what football fans like. I thought they'd like what Burnley are doing.

Villa Park is a great away day. Not far from me either. Hope they stay up.

Wouldn't mind taking Benteke off their hands, though.

Not quite so sure why you've written the word fans with apostrophes.

    In response to your points:

    a) Not anywhere in my posts did I mention anything in regards to 'long balls' so it seems as though you're getting quite defensive there over nothing.

    b) Again, when did I mention Ramsey? Since we're on about him, are you insinuating that what Shawcross did was ok? You being a Stoke fan, I wouldn't be surprised if you thought so anyway. Now we move on to your link about Fabregas, we were 3-1 up in that game so there wasn't any reason for any of our players to feel frustrated, clearly there were various reasons as to why he gestured the way he did. I'm not condoning it, but I assume he was provoked into it. Again, no surprise there.

    c) Yes, aggressive demeanour indeed. I'm glad you've put in the word 'recent' there, that's the key word. Even then I'm still not sure you're correct. Since the premier league started Stoke City have racked up more red cards than Arsenal, see the first and second table: http://www.arsenal.com/news/features...v-swansea-city
Nevermind historically, your team is pretty dire this season as well according to these Fair Play Tables:
    http://www.thefa.com/football-rules-governance/fairplay
    http://www.premierleague.com/en-gb/m...fair-play.html

You guys get worse and worse, there's no improvement. You're high up every single statistical disciplinary data:
    http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/foo...er-League.html
You were the number one dirtiest team about two seasons ago:
    http://talksport.com/magazine/featur...-201213-198583

And what about Giroud's headbutt? How many times are our players dismissed for violent conduct like that, it only happens once in a blue moon. With Stoke City 'Football Club' many go unnoticed and that's how you get away with it, need I remind you of this little episode from Charlie Adam?: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FJRd0XfCauE your team does stuff like this week in week out, half of it goes unnoticed by officials. What about this from Nzonzi? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YZjMI28qltI
In regards to Arsene Wenger, I'd love to see where you got that information. This man has been at the same club for nearly two decades, of course its going to amount to that at some point, your suggestion is highly invalid tbh.

Misguided conceptions? It need not be a misguided when I can see it happening right there in front of my own eyes. Face it, don't be bitter. Stoke City is a vile, disgusting football club. Your 'playing style' is similar to that of WWE. You don't play football. There you go again with the whole 'long ball' thing. Clearly, you've unconsciously highlighted something that bothers you about your team. If Stoke City are the be all and end all of football then please raise your ambitions and actually bring something to the Premier League rather than just being content with finishing 10th/11th etc every damn season. Your football club isn't even the end of it, it seems as though it runs through to the fans as well, you're all a deficiency to modern day football. This may take away from the seriousness of my post but you've even got little school kids identifying and making fun of how your team 'plays', see link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D2zkPEQrWro

When your team feel like playing actual football and feel less inclined to be negatively physical and produce less cynical challenges then let me know, English football could well do without your club.

Hope you enjoy watching Stoke City Football club play against Manchester United on Thursday, I'm sure your team will do all they can to fight their way through to a good result, literally.

I love this "They're boring, I'd rather some team with history was there" mentality. Makes no sense to me whatsoever. So, if you don't have a past that you deem worthy, you don't want them to have a future?
If its about history then you could basically relegate half of the current Premier League.

Preston North End would be promoted to the PL, along with Sheffield United, Sheffield Wednesday (who would revert to their old name of The Wednesday) and Derby County. All the Sunderland and Villa haters would have to suck it up that they would be very much in there.

You could also make a case for Bristol City and Blackburn Rovers.

Read your history books folks, in the founding age of English football these teams were the dominant forces in the English game, Liverpool and Everton were in the mix as well.
