Between TV and prize money, even spending one season at the bottom of the premiership is worth £60m. It's not that they don't have money to spend, it's that they refuse to spend it. Or, rather, they waste it (rumoured £4m on Jukebox and Marvin Sordell, £3m on George Boyd...)
While reaching the Premier League is worth a lot of money, that doesn't mean you can just spend madly without thinking. Leicester have spent nearly a third of that money on 2 players, one who is Ulloa (not a great player at all) and a player you will only have for 6 months.

Ok, those signings aren't great (Boyd is terribad) but the fact is that Burnley do have far less to spend than the other relegation candidates and have performed decently so far.

Wouldn't say George Boyd was a waste of money, he's been a good signing for them.

£4m for Sordell is ridiculous though
He's terrible. He has little to no technical ability.

Realistically, the three promoted sides are still favourites for the drop.

4m for juxebox and sordell combined - juke was 2.5m and sordell about 1.5m according to the rumours (undisclosed fee).

    Still 1.5m too much mind.

And we were able to spend that because the rest of our squad was assembled on the cheap - schmeichel was a million, likewise wes Morgan, de laet and James were 2m combined, schlupp and king academy products, mahrez 400k. Until Ulloa, Pearson hadn't spent over 1m on a single player.

Until we signed Kramaric, our squad and burnleys cost roughly the same - their whinging about no money is an act.

QPR, The Mags & Villa. There's only room for one 0-0 specialist in this league.

Actually met him and Cyprus and he was really nice, sadly all this crap is going to eventually go against him.

In the irritation stakes, I think I prefer Pearson over Dyche in the post-match interview areas...

I'd be amazed if QPR survived even with Sherwood.

One of Leicester/Burnley are definitely staying up.

QPR are as good as gone.

Think Burnley could hang on, thus it would be QPR, Villa & Leicester. Though I think Villa POTENTIALLY have a bit of an easier remaining run (looking at games they could feasibly get points from) than Sunderland do, so would be interesting to see if Sunderland drop back into bottom three with maybe Burnley and Villa clear.

How can any neutral not want QPR to go down when they have Rio Ferdinand popping up on chat shows and Joey Barton being a full-time scumbag?

After this weekend, I hope Burnley get relegated all the way out of the football league, go into administration and fold. Disgusting club.

Villa - seriously, go away, find a new owner, sort your **** out and we'll have you back when your not a total mess.

QPR - Terribly run club. Plus everytime a player I like goes there they look terrible (Mutch, Isla and Vargas this season).

Liverpool - Man Utd fan so... I got them relegated to the conference in FM13, that was a lot of fun.

Why? Chelsea should have had a couple of penalties but they weren't violent conduct, they were trips and fouls that the ref missed; hardly Burnleys fault that refs in this division are generally awful.

Even the Matic red card incident is a bit of nothing - Barnes is playing a pass and following through a pass normally, like every other player does - Matic steps infront of him slightly too late to intercept the pass and catches the follow through.

I don't like Burnley, Sean Dyche in particular is an annoying, whiney man-child but they really didn't do much wrong Saturday: the ref was just, as always, atrocious.

I know I'm just being salty and want to see Barnes punished. I seriously doubt the FA will punish him, so Burnley getting relegated would be the next best thing.

Disagree on the challenge being 'a bit of nothing'. It was a clear and deliberate follow through to intentionally catch Matic and injure him.
