Will doing English Literature B for only 1 year count as an AS-Level?
I initially heard from the other class, their teacher saying that doing it for only one year didn't count for anything. I then asked my own teacher and she told me that no-one she taught had ever took it for only one year but if the other teacher said so, "it must be right".
It counts as an AS if you sit the AS exams after the first year.

Yes, it counts for 1 AS-Level, assuming you're doing the AS-Level this year. I'm unsure about the new 2015 specs next year though.
