Anyone studied/studying/applied to study for this?

I read it's the only way to become a full time youth worker and get any sort of professional/manager roles in future so I've applied for it and it looks interesting but am a bit concerned about the career prospects after it. I've been told from many people it's INCREDIBLY difficult to get any sort of paid youth work after it and that many social workers are on the course using this as as "extra".

I'm also wondering how many hours a week the course is as this will impact on whether I apply for accomodation or not.

Hey, sorry to see you haven't had any replies to your thread yet. Are you sure you’ve posted in the right place? Posting in the specific university or course forum should help get more responses.

If you haven’t already found it, then university connect is a really useful way for finding people at your course/university! You can also find a list of applicant threads and courses here. It's worth checking out if you have questions.

If you need advice on your academic work, then the Study Help section will be able to help you. Hope this helps!
