    Hi,

i am enrolling to Edge Hill University next September and am ready for a mobile phone upgrade. Therefore, I was wondering what is the best/worse phone network for signal at Edge Hill Uni campus.

    thanks,

Hey, I'm joining next year too, so I can't really answer. However there is free wifi all over the campus, and the only phone store in ormskirk as far as I can remember is car phone warehouse, so I'd suggest getting it from there (easier if there's problems)

i'm on 3 mobile's network - on the open day, the internet was pretty poor... i did have mobile signal - just no 3G or anything like that at all

however, as erinackerley said above, the wifi seemed to be pretty well spread across campus c:

I go to Edge Hill =)
The wifi over campus is really good if not a bit slow =)
I'm on EE and I have to say it's pretty awful but i think it's the best one for the campus
You get quite a lot of wind here which knocks the mobile towers, but either EE or 02 i'd say, cause my boyfriends tends to work when he comes to visit =)

I'm on O2 and I get pretty consistent signal across campus, 4G is quite common around here too, or at least high speed 3G

You can check the coverage of various networks through the links on Ofcom's website: http://ask.ofcom.org.uk/help/telephone/mobilecoverage.
