    It's meant to symbolise the Call of Duty hitmarker, shows how many n00bs a guy is pwning. The more "x" the more n00bs being rekt

    I don't think they do when texting other guys, only when texting girls. I think it's because they think that's what girls do, so it's a way of "fitting in".

    With guys it's a lot more considered. One x = genuine affection, multiple x = fancy the pants off you..

    If they are in Year 7, yeh.

    I don't use them at all. What's the point?

    I wouldn't assume it meant anything other than friendliness. But then again, I never use them unless I fancy someone. :dontknow: Sooooo... gosh, maybe it's different for everyone, imagine that :lol: :curious:

    x = I'm only doing this because you put an x at the end of your last message
    xx = I'm only doing this because you put xx at the end of your last message
    xxx = I'm only doing this because you put xxx at the end of your last message

    It's just a for loop.

    x++ instead of i++

    Why do girls?

    I usually put what they put, unless they've told me or it's obvious that they're doing it out of habit. If that's the case then I'd use a maximum of one and then only to signify an actual kiss.
