2 terrible teams who keep fluking their way to victory.

Spurs haven't beaten us at WHL since 2001 and must fancy their chances of ending that run.

    Prediction: 2-1 Spurs

Both teams play **** for 90 minutes, both teams score a goal in the 90th minute to make it 1-1 (Eriksen and RvP), flukiest draw in the history of the PL.

All I can predict here is that we won't lose and Eriksen/Lamela will score a wondergoal.

United to edge it. Spurs have a knack of winning by the odd goal here and there, so it could easily end all square.

Would a 0-0 draw and Eriksen/de Gea double leg break suffice?

Now who's downplaying their chances lol. Like the pot calling the kettle black

United should win this. I'm going 1-2 to United.

Was just responding to Fizzle in the United thread and it comes up thread closed! Authoritarian state governed by Colonial SR and his wife Empress Lyrical...

2-2 or 3-0 Spurs. Van Gaal sacked in the morning...

Di Maria is such an injury prone flop. Awful signing. He won't score again this season. Quote me when I'm wrong.

First unchanged lineup in 85 games according to the BBC. Exactly what you'd expect with our second game in 48 hours

Was gonna post this in United thread but it got closed.

Tbf Van Gaal is doing the bare minimum with the squad. Nothing exceptional when you got Di Maria, Rooney, Falcao, Herrera, Blind, Shaw, De Gea in the team. Despite the injuries some are having extended runs in the team which is more than enough to get rid of the dross in the league, Chelsea were starting Ramires and Mikel and got 3rd a few seasons back e.g.

Also if Arsenal didn't have injuries to their key players they'd be above you. I know you've had your problems but losing your first choice right back and not having your best CB out for ages, your no.10 being out for 3 months along with countless other systematic injuries to a part of the squad is ridiculous. I feel sympathy for them but they simply have a midtable squad that they put out. At worst you put out a midtable defence that gets bailed out by a world class goalkeeper. Rest is easily top 3/4 standard, even the likes of Fellaini you'd say can play a role at a top 4 side, just not one challenging for honours on multiple fronts. Flamini, Chambers, Monreal at CB, Chamberlain at CM, Podolski etc. getting runs in the team is not the case though.

Anyway the table doesn't lie and you have the third best squad. Really should be getting 3rd minimum with the squad you have and the lead you have over Arsenal, barring another even worse injury crisis. Liverpool could be in the race for top 4 if they got a whole new squad in the january transfer window too.

Lloris, Chiriches, Fazio, Vertonghen, Davies, Stambouli, Mason, Townsend, Eriksen, Chadli, Kane
De Gea, Evans, Jones, McNair, Valencia, Mata, Carrick, Rooney, Young, Falcao, RVP

My god that's a terrible Spurs team. Mason, Stambouli AND Townsend

    Injured of course.

First time we've named an unchanged XI in 85 Premier League games as well. Shocking stat.

I knew he was injured but I was assuming it was a knock and that Gaal was resting him for today.
