Obviously it's not everybody's cup of tea, and realistically it's not always affordable straight after leaving student life, but does post uni travelling deserve the hype it gets?

For myself, I love the idea of travelling, and our student budget summer tours with my History Society have been great in enabling us to go to Russia, Sweden, Finland, Poland, Italy etc.

I love experiencing new cultures, but it doesn't suit everyone and not all of my friends like the sound of it.

After uni, I'd really want to travel to more places across the world, but money of course is a limit and so it's more a case of finding a job first. A lot of my friends have done Camp America, but it conflicts with graduation this year for me!

But just thought I'd start a discussion with what you guys are up to after uni? Do you like the sound of travelling?
Even if you won't go straight away, what's your favourite landmark you'd want to see? For me it's the Great Wall of China and the Christ the Redeemer Statue in Brasil

I'm wanting to study geography at university so travelling will be an important part of my life. Once I am finished my a levels I plan on doing some travelling around the UK with my boyfriend and then after uni I would love to travel to San Francisco to visit my cousins out there and australia to visit my boyfriend's cousins. I would also love to visit New Zealand as well as Sweden, Norway and Finland. As me and my boyfriend are both petrol heads going to Monaco is a definite as well as going to the F1 at Spa and Abu Dhabi

    Beth how are you?

If you are looking for something to do that doesn't conflict with your graduation, you can do Camp Canada in the Autumn? Check it out www.CampCanada.org

Hope you had a good Christmas x

Yes I'd travel all through Europe, and if I could be extra greedy and had enough money I'd also visit china, Japan, South Korea and mexico and maybe a few other stops along the way.

Italy. Anywhere in Italy. I've also always wanted to visit Russia, so that's definitely up there.

Rome is my favourite place ever! Although Moscow looks nice, St. Petersburg is where I want to go.
