So I will get straight to the point.

I am employed on a zero-hours contract basis by a agency as a warehouse worker; they send me to warehouses to work. So I was booked in by one of the agency workers for three nights; however, I was turned away from these warehouses as too many agency workers were sent. I paid for transport, cancelled other plans etc to work. BTW it was Christmas night as well, so I paid for a cab.

Will I still be paid as I and they agreed to work these days weeks before?
