    Hey guys,

I just got an email from Imp saying that they have received my app and that its being considered right now. Strange thing is that I have not even received my welcome letter from UCAS yet. But Imp was kind enough to give me my track number, . So, does this mean that my app has been received by the other unis as well? Or only by Imp? Also how much does devouting 2/3 of your PS to econ and 1/3 to math and management hurt when applying to math with management at Imp, ?

The UCAS Welcome Letter can usually take a couple of days to arrive by post, however one can only assume that when the actual application is sent to UCAS by your referee, or examination co-ordinator that it is then directly sent to your prospectus university course admission departments. Regarding your personal statement as long as the information you have included relating to Mathematics and Management is conscise and relevant, and you have developed an enthusiasm and interest in the subject via your personal statement then you should have a good chance. However, other candidates who have dedicated their whole statement to Mathematics and Management will be undoubtedly in a better position, since they have a greater scope to express their interest, knowledge in/of the subject and desire to learn.
