Too sick to sit an exam watch

    • Thread Starter

My uni has a fit to sit policy. I'm a first year med student and my first Midd sessionals in Jan 6th. I'm kind of prepared but for the past 2 weeks I've had a really bad cold. It's so bad I've not been able to sleep at night (keeping waking up to cough etc). Then sleeping during the day/being to tired to revise. I'm pretty sure it's turned into a sinus infection so I'm going to my GP on Monday.

If I got a letter from him would this be a good enough reason to miss an exam?
I'm not trying to get out of it but I do feel like my studying has been majorly affected.
Do you think parents should charge rent?
