I have done in the past - 42 hours isnt much tho

You might find it gers boring not having a day off so I wouldn;t recommend it as a contract.

I have done 8 days in a row - 51 hours - before. Wasn't that bad.

42 hours isn't that bad. That's what I do in a normal week, but I do it over 5 days.

I did 7 days a week earlier this year for a bit but it really begun to grind me down after a few weeks.I missed not being able to lie in,having no time to do anything else, worrying about going out because I had to be up early for work.

It sucked basically. In the short term it's fine...any longer and I wouldn't recommend it.

I am doing a 10 day week over the half term. Should be quite exciting, and gives me a chance to better myself in the oh-so-exciting social ranking hierachy of Tesco.

Over xmas its 7 days a week for 4 weeks, only day off is xmas, 8-8 (but sometimes later) each day.

Whats that... 84 hours or something. Amazing fun, and its only a short contract...

I work 5 days a week 9 - 5, but after Christmas I'm thinking about working in a café or something in the evenings and at weekends - I actually get really bored on weekends with nothing to do!!

Have worked for 23 days in a row without a day off with 7am starts everyday. Not much fun, but it's do-able.

The time/amount of hours in a week is more of an indication on how hard/doable a week is.

42 hours is nothing, that's 6 hours a day. Vast majority of working adults will work at least that in a week.

Most i've done is 11 days in a row - 9ish hours a day

During that time (waitering/bar work) I couldn't really socialise, would work until 11ish, then get home at about 12. go to bed at 2, wake up, eat and do it all again. At least with a 9-5 or similar you can socialise in evenings.

My mate was working 10 hour days 7 days a week for a couple of months, I don't think I could hack that.

Oh I work about 9 hours a day, but I'm on call 24 hours a day.
