I read up that a fan got thrown out for chanting "eyeyeyey goodbye" during DB's speech.

I wish Ambrose got a few more hits on brock though.

    Really good RAW.

The Bryan interview and segment to close the show was very, very reminiscent of Edge. I'm gutted we won't be seeing him perform anymore. He broke ground in the WWE for independent wrestlers, and many in NXT wouldn't have been signed without Bryan's success and the Yes Movement.
I'd say it was sadder than Edge. A 10 time World Champion, arguably undeservedly so decorated, vs DB who was either pushed down or injured when he finally won the big one. In hindsight, it's probably a good thing he did pick up the injury after WM30, imagine if that was him on the receiving end of 16 German's at Summerslam and not John Cena. Wonder what he'll do now, we may even see a Brie title win at FastLane just for a cool Bryan pop at Mania.

I definitely preferred him to Edge, personally.

I think he's more of a trailblazer for the company than Edge was, too. Don't get me wrong, Edge was a great champion - but he looked like a lot of guys, he acted like a lot of guys, he had the same outlook on the industry as other guys.

Hope we see more of the Dudley Boyz as these ruthless heels, to be honest. Have them feud with the Usos without the titles, and allow another team - potentially a face duo from the Social Outcasts - face the New Day for a while.

The New Day deserve to break the record for the longest title reign, anyway.

    Show

    - Chris Jericho kicks off the show, coming to the ring for a promo to hype his match with AJ Styles

    - The Dudley Boyz cut a promo with tables surrounding the ring and we see a replay of them turning on The Usos at RAW. Bubba cuts a big heel promo and rips Daniel Bryan for retiring. "Save the tables" comes back as Bubba says they are doing away with tables, no more tables for the fans.
    - Sasha Banks def. Naomi.
    - AJ Styles cuts a backstage promo on Jericho.
    - Bray Wyatt and The Wyatt Family came to the ring for a promo. Wyatt talks about how they were here to take out the "buy guys" of WWE.

A lesson for all of the roster - don't mess around with the boss as Titus O'Neil has found out!

90 days. That's harsh. Couldn't they have just let him job (if he's not doing already) as punishment than this over-reaction. Probably not the best time to do an arm drag, amazed Vince didn't instinctively give him a slap as others may have done.

The Coach interviewing Daniel Bryan here, but it's worrying for him to say he doesn't know the figure of his concussions but like he said, needs to be an openness in reporting without fear of losing a spot in the roster or within a sporting environment.

I just hope he has a break and a rest. Such a demanding lifestyle, he's earned to put his feet up and not think about wrestling or WWE for a long time.

FFS Titus. Don't touch Vince. He only likes Divas doing that - or, at a push, Braun Strowman.

Titus grabbed Vince's arm for some reason, probably to say something, and they joshed around and play-fought. I haven't seen it in HD, but it looks like at the last split second that Vince is grinning/laughing, while Titus' body language is obviously playful. There's no official word that that's what he's suspended for.

Vince and Kurt Angle would regularly try to do surprise takedowns on each other backstage. This is Vince McMahon we're talking about. He's probably at his happiest rolling around with a big, black guy.

If it is to do with that, then I'd bet Vince found it hilarious but Triple H or Steph gave him the suspension, then Vince was all "aw c'mon, give him a break", so it was reduced to 60 days.

Strange message to send to the roster, given steroid abuse is regularly swept under the carpet and there's a three-strike rule, but clean-living and all-round hard worker Titus is suspended for something so trivial.

Good to see AJ Styles and Chris Jericho's feud getting such airtime on SmackDown. It's hard to see Styles becoming anything but a mid-carder, though. He'll be left battling for the secondary championships at best. That isn't to do with his independent background, either, or him being from TNA. WWE have shown they can accept guys from other areas of the business. The problem is his age. He's almost 40.

The Dudley Boyz have gone full-heel, which is good. They criticised Bryan galore on SmackDown, and their streetwear attire makes Bubba look more like Bully Ray than ever.

It was a decent SmackDown, but nothing special (obviously). A lack of genuine show-stealers - no Ambrose, Lesnar, Reigns, Owens - let it down.

By the way, this week's SmackDown spoilers:

    Spoiler:
    Show

    - Sheamus, Rusev and Alberto Del Rio def. United States champion Kalisto, Sin Cara and Dolph Ziggler. Kevin Owens was at ringside, and his distraction set up the pinfall on Ziggler.
    - Sasha Banks def. Tamina by submission. Team B.A.D. beat down Banks after the match until Becky Lynch made the save.
    - Chris Jericho def. The Miz with the Walls of Jericho. After the match, he accepted Styles' challenge for a match at Fastlane.
    - WWE Divas champion Charlotte def. Natalya with the Figure Eight. After the match, Brie Bella hit the ring and brawled with Charlotte.
    - Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns def. The Dudley Boyz by disqualification when Brock Lesnar interfered. The Beast leveled both Ambrose and Reigns with German suplexes. Miscommunication between the babyfaces led to Reigns planting The Lunatic Fringe with a Samoan Drop, only for the former champion to turn right around into an F5. Triple H's music played, and the WWE world heavyweight champion stared down Lesnar to wrap up the show.

Why are Ambrose and Reigns suddenly feuding for the WWE Title shot, and completely brushing under the carpet they've already faced each other for the actual strap and remained friends?

There's a new angle of the Titus/Vince playfight that shows Vince smiling and laughing, as well as Steph and Triple, just as suspected:

On Barrett leaving - no surprise and inevitable. Intending to stay on in wrestling or go into an acting route?

He should go into acting tbh. Since debuting, he hasn't managed a full 12 month schedule due to injuries. The guy needs a break, and to come back in a short contract role for six months to get somebody over in five years time.
