    describe a situation in the workplace when you identified and understood the needs of others?

    Really struggled to answer this question at interview ? Does anyone have any suggestions/examples?

    The above response is correct really - you can't use other's examples...

    But the things to think about are:

    When you've adapted an approach to something to the benefit of another person and not because you were just thinking about yourself.

    Or

    When have you gone out of your way/ the extra mile to help someone when there was no expectation for you to do so.

    If you are struggling for a work place example then can use anything - uni, college, studies, volunteering, everyday life experiences (and just state in the answer you recognise it isn't a workplace example).
