Most college's entry requirements are informal. This means that if you fail to meet the requirements, there is a possibility that you could compromise with them. However, it is very rare that a college will give you a place unless they receive your actual grade achieved at GCSE. This means that if you fail to meet their requirements, they might accept students that did before they accept you.
