Watching porn lowers your standards in sex. If I was a sex doctor (do those exist?) I would recommend one experienced sex addict to each porn addict. This cure is just magical. :daydreaming:
But wouldn't they all pretty much be straight males?

I don't see why anyone needs porn to be honest. Back when you were 15 and wanted to look at naughty things online or sneakily turn the TV channel over after your parents had gone to bed, fair enough. However, as an adult its rather easy to get laid if you put the effort in so there really is no need for it.
Well considering porn sites are amongst the most visited in the world there evidently is quite a need for it.

Not bigger, leaner/sharper.face/higher social proof at present/better adjusted socially possibly due to being neurotypical if I DO have autism waiting for diagnosis regardless lack of severe Dyspraxia (?) unsure
/funnier/debatably smarter with 1st as opposed to my 2.1/funnier/better with women/generally more masculine etc.

    Oh and they're 'just friends'

Mainly the porn addicts but I assume a lot of sex addicts are male too.
If you're pairing them in that way you may be short on females

No this was after 4 months of me secretly relapsing on depression and anxiety outside the rship after STUPIDLY!!! Coming off Fluoxetine without a GP's consent.

She left me (she claims) because she's Hindu and the whole i-can't-give-you-what-you want thing. Near the end of the rship I stopped being fun to be around, got passive aggressive to the guy friend in question when he'd just been dumped, grew addicted to TSR etc.

And I have been addicted to brutal soul destroying porn stories and redpill since just before coming off meds. Basically every story I read is hot wives cheating on fat infertile hubbies with hot rich men

I've said it before, and I'll say it again:

No good has ever come from having standards.
    Less likely to get STI's.

 You'd be surprised just what kind of people can be sex addicts or porn addicts! Men are usually the ones people suspect because they're the ones that are more open about their porn/sex habits so it's easier to think of them as a the main "victims" of either addictions.

Porn gives unrealistic expectations to both men and women.

I don't have a problem with porn if it's taken for what it is- fantasy.

It's when people transfer those expectations to real life that it becomes an issue.

And then of course there are a whole host of feminist issues related to porn- a lot of women choose to work in the sex industry (which is great!), but a lot don't. And of course now the new UK porn regulations have banned some stupid things, female ejaculation being one of them. Good job, government.

And I think it speaks volumes that the most watched porn category is teen porn- the fetishisation of young girls is not an ok thing to perpetuate.
I don't know anyone that expects real women to be like porn stars.

The reason a lot of men watch porn is because women simply don't have the same sex drive. Porn allows men a fantasy world where women are as into sex for its own sake as we are.

Everyone has watched porn at some point. Has no relevance to standards imo. Porn is not a big deal. I hardly watch it as an fyi

Porn is evil and abuses innocent women. Men who use women for porn are depraved low life citizens.
We need more gay porn for gender equality. #feminism

That said, the porn industry is one of the many cancers of our society as it gives unrealistic expectations to some men and women.
You can say that about the entire entertainment industry, then.

    Or any kind of art.
