Hi all, i want to apply within glasgow- uni of glasgow, uni of strathclyde, uni of west of scotland and glasgow caledonian:

I want to apply for 2 courses at each of the best 2 universties which are uni of glasgow and strahclyde- so in order to increase chances of getting offers from both. But, then i will be left with only 1 more course so it means i need to skip one university. Questions are:

    1. Will i be disadvantaged in any way e.g might be the rejection for one course affects the offer for the other course from the same university? Considering that both courses include psychology and another subject.

    Thanks!

You wont disadvantage yourself by applying for 2 courses at any Uni - but you should check that these courses dont have a common pathway (ie. whichever one you applied for you would decide which specialism you wanted after a common first year).

    Phone/email the Uni(s) to check.

But whichever joint honours i choose at university of glasgow, i would specialise in both with 50/50 modules in final year. However at strathclyde, my courses are joint honours in psychology + hrm and psy + economics. Here aim to specialise in psychology for both courses but can do in hrm as well; but not economics. I think according to you i should apply for two courses at strathclyde but not in glagsow?

    Galsgow courses with name:
    Business economics and psychology
    Business and management and psychology.

Thanks! for a different and helpful approach!
