    GPE in inversely propotional to r so a bigger r is a smaller GPE so further away = less GPE

    Increase because you are doing work against the gravitational attraction

    I keep seeing people saying they think theres gonna be a 6 marker on SHM or resonance but what could you get 6 marks out of? Is there really enough there to make a 6 mark question

    has anyone come up with potential questions

    GPE inscreases (i.e. becomes less negative) since you have to put work in against the gravitational force (gains energy) to move it further from the planet.

    you're right i forgot the minus sign, the magnitude does decrease but due to the minus sign it just means its becoming less negative which is increasing

    Has Anyone got any tips for one of those 3 markers where you have to apply your knowledge... Whenever i come across them... I always get 1 or if i am lucky 2 marks... And sometimes no Marks.
