1. Thanks to everyone who's helped out in this thread, and good luck to us all tomorrow - here's hoping for an energy loss in transformers 6 marker!

I hope so too! Good Luck!
3. Could someone clear this up for me quick, If i move a mass further away from a planet, does it's GPE increase or decrease

GPE in inversely propotional to r so a bigger r is a smaller GPE so further away = less GPE

Increase because you are doing work against the gravitational attraction
6. And is it the same for Gravitational Potential?
7. I keep seeing people saying they think theres gonna be a 6 marker on SHM or resonance but what could you get 6 marks out of? Is there really enough there to make a 6 mark question

has anyone come up with potential questions

uhh i thought the closer = more KE the far more Ep ?

GPE inscreases (i.e. becomes less negative) since you have to put work in against the gravitational force (gains energy) to move it further from the planet.

i agree to this
11. Okay thanks
12. june 13 question 1.c) ... help?
also june 14 question 3 on the multiple choice?
pleasssssse:-)

any tips for the 6 marker?
14. Which EMF/flux linkage equations do we use and in which situations?

Write everything you know?
16. Equation for electric potential in a uniform field?

you're right i forgot the minus sign, the magnitude does decrease but due to the minus sign it just means its becoming less negative which is increasing
x
18. Has Anyone got any tips for one of those 3 markers where you have to apply your knowledge... Whenever i come across them... I always get 1 or if i am lucky 2 marks... And sometimes no Marks.
19. Yeah my moneys on a SHM 6 marker
20. Does everyone reckon SHM for the 6 marker?
